The A.I. Dilemma

Saturday, May 13, 2023

1pm

Warwick Public Library

600 Sandy Lane
Warwick, RI 02889

Please join us in The Idea Lab where we will watch and discuss a recent talk by Tristan Harris and Aza Raski. This presentation is from a private gathering in San Francisco on March 9th, 2023 with leading technologists and decision-makers with the ability to influence the future of large-language model A.I.s. This presentation was given before the launch of GPT-4.

Everyone is encouraged to join the discussion. Conversation at the meeting is open to all ages and levels of scholarship.

“This is absolutely required viewing for everyone everywhere. We are at the defining moment for the outcome of our collective future.”

“I have been avidly researching AI safety, and this is the best primer I have found on the subject for a general audience. Thank you so much for this wonderful presentation.”

“I wish I had a large enough vocabulary to describe how excited and scared I feel regarding all of this. This will fundamentally change pretty much every single aspect of the world we live in in the next few years.”
