Telegram CEO Offers Free IVF To Women Who Use His Sperm

November 12, 2024 Posted by Director Brains & Biometrics, Progress & Principles

Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of the semi-encrypted chat platform Telegram, is sponsoring a Russian IVF clinic offering women the opportunity to undergo free fertilization with his sperm.

“You can undergo the procedure of in vitro fertilization (IVF) absolutely free of charge, using donor sperm from Pavel Durov, one of the most famous and successful entrepreneurs of our time,” the AltraVita IVF clinic, based in Moscow, advertises on its website. Altra Vita claims that their cryobank is the only one on the planet with exclusive rights to store and use biomaterial of Pavel Durov.

The tech CEO has previously admitted to fathering hundreds of children in 12 differnet countries via similar means.  Eventually Durov plans to “open source” his DNA in order for his various children to find him.

“Now I plan to open-source my DNA so that my biological children can find each other more easily. Of course, there are risks, but I don’t regret having been a donor. The shortage of healthy sperm has become an increasingly serious issue worldwide, and I’m proud that I did my part to help alleviate it 💪”

Pavel Durov is a very successful tech executive. However, he’s also the creator of a platform that has been accused of being a hub for criminals, nazis, sexual predators, and terrorists. This past August, he was arrested in Paris for allowing criminal activity to flourish on his platform. Durov was ultimately released on $5.5 million bail, as the invesestigagtion into his alleged criminal activity remains ongoing.

Tech billionaires’ obsession with longevity appears to be a trend – investing in, and / or personally experiementing with new technologies to expand their life or disseminating their sperm to hundreds of women or, like Elon Musk who is currently father to 11 children, procreating to populate Mars. Tech industry giants seem to believe their genetic material deserves to live forever.
