Bezos funds US$30m sustainable protein lab

A US$30m centre for sustainable protein has been launched at Imperial College London as engineers work to develop the processes and new foods needed to reduce the harmful impacts of food production.Image

If the AI appeals system generates a hallucination that influences a referee’s decision, it not only means the decision could be wrong it could also undermine the claimant’s ability to appeal that wrong decision in a civil court case. Google’s AI Will Help Decide Whether Unemployed Workers Get Benefits The state is working with Google on a first-of-its-kind generative AI system that will analyze transcripts from appeals hearings and issue a recommended decision in an effort to clear a stubborn backlog of claims.
