COMPUTERS IMPLANTED INTO HUMAN BRAINS?

Since 2004 Blackrock Neurotechnology has been attempting to successfully hook a computer physically up to a human brain. Nineteen years later in May 2023 the FDA approves the first human trial for them. Within weeks the FDA approves another human trial request from Neuralink, Elon Musk’s company.

With advances in neuroscience and incredible leaps in unregulated artificial intelligence (AI) the future looks bright!
But is there a downside?
